Drazhan Brachikj is a member of the Photo Association of Macedonia and the Photo Association of Serbia. He has actively been doing photography since 2007. He developed a particular interest for black-and-white photography dealing with everyday life, the street, portraits, musical events (concerts) and the underground scene. He has participated in over 60 national and international exhibitions in Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, France, Russia, Turkey, Indonesia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. He has received a number of certificates and awards. Among his most valuable accomplishments are the 3 solo exhibitions ‘Heraklea’, ‘Street’, ‘Rhythm in frame’, two of which were supported by the art board of the Photo Association of Macedonia. He took park in the Macedonian art collection at the international biennial in Indonesia and Slovenia. He participated in the Macedonian part of the international exhibition ‘Slovenian Carnivals’ at the UNESCO seat in Paris, France. Around 150 photographs of his have been published in books, catalogues, brochures, posters. He was also invited as a guest, speaking on the topic of photography, in various national and local TV channels.
