Aleksandar Tomovski was born in 1985 in Skopje. By day, he works as a software engineer, while the rest of his time is dedicated to his passions as a photographer and filmmaker.
His love for photography originates in nature and the mountains, and then extends to the streets of the city, capturing the essence of everyday life and gradually focusing on portraying the timeless inspiration of women in art. This may also include ballet and ballerinas, who showcase elegance and grace through their performances, as well as expressions through acting, dance, and costumes.
Over the years, Aleksandar has participated in prestigious international competitions and group exhibitions held in prominent galleries, earning numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as honorary awards, diplomas, and recognitions.
As a member of the jury committee, he has had the privilege of being involved in competitions under the patronage of esteemed organizations such as FIAP and PSA. Notably, he was the first representative from Macedonia to be invited to the jury of the annual awards of the Russian international competition, 35Awards.
Since September 2022, he has held the prestigious title of Candidate Master of Photography at the National Photo Union of Macedonia, and he was recognized as one of the top 5 most successful photography exhibitors of 2022. Currently, he awaits the formal award of the Master of Photography title.
