Aleksandar Budjevac

Aleksandar Budjevac was born in 1969 in Kragujevac, Serbia, where he lives and works. He has been active in photography for more than twenty years. He has the F1 title of Photo Alliance of Serbia and Excellence, an international organization of amateur photographers at FIAP. Since 2013 he has been actively exhibiting photographs. He has participated in 150 exhibitions in Serbia and around the world, under the auspices of various amateur associations (FIAP, PSA, GPU, MOL …), which has won around 120 medals and awards in more than 25 countries, as well as four awards for Best Exhibitor (FIAP Blue Badge). Before 2013, he had more than 15 joint exhibitions in Serbia, Switzerland and Italy. He also participated in exhibitions organized by the Balkan Culture Association Kalamata in Greece, 2017, 2018 and 2019. He has two solo exhibitions “My people” December 2011, Kragujevac, and “My Way” February 2016 at the National Museum in Kragujevac. At the invitation of the organizers of the Acropolis, Italy, he participated in the exhibition “My Myths”, in 2015 and 2016, among the 30 selected authors from Europe. In 2019, he won the first prize for the “Boy from the water” collection at the FSS National Exhibition, as well as the first prize for the collection in Rijeka (Croatia), at the Third Element exhibition. He is currently president of the Kragujevac Photo Club.

The “Momentum” exhibition in Kumanovo as part of the Malinski Festival in June 2020 will be his third solo exhibition.

“Momentum” a moment of radiance of a kind of spirit and intensity that forces the viewer to look at the world through the eyes of the author.
